Councilmember Bob Blumenfield Endorses Tim Gaspar for Los Angeles City Council District 3
Blumenfield’s exclusive endorsement further cements Gaspar’s position as the front runner and is a clear vote of confidence in Gaspar’s ability to lead.
Woodland Hills, CA – Today, Tim Gaspar’s campaign for Los Angeles City Council District 3 announced an exclusive endorsement from current Councilmember Bob Blumenfield. Blumenfield, who has represented the West Valley for the past 12 years, is termed out of office in 2026.
Blumenfield’s endorsement is a significant boost to Gaspar’s campaign and reflects growing support across the district for a candidate who combines private-sector experience, deep community roots, and a results-oriented approach to leadership.
“Tim Gaspar is exactly the kind of leader the West Valley needs—someone who knows the community, understands how to get things done, and will be a relentless advocate for safe neighborhoods, strong
local businesses, and real results,” said Councilmember Bob Blumenfield. “Tim has the integrity, vision, and dedication to public service that this job demands, and I’m proud to endorse him to be our next Councilmember.”
A lifelong resident of the West Valley, Gaspar grew up in Canoga Park and graduated from El Camino Real High School, Pierce College, and California State University, Northridge. He founded Gaspar Insurance in 2008 and built it into one of the largest independent insurance firms in the region, earning national recognition and creating local jobs. He has served on nonprofit boards across the Valley and launched the Timothy Gaspar Entrepreneurship Scholarship at CSUN to support the next generation of local leaders.
“Councilmember Blumenfield has served our community with integrity and determination for more than a decade, and I’m honored to have his endorsement,” said Gaspar. “Bob’s work has made the West Valley a better place, and I look forward to building on that progress with smart policies, community partnerships, and a commitment to listening and delivering for residents.”
With strong early fundraising and a growing coalition of neighborhood leaders, small business owners, and community advocates behind him, Gaspar enters the next phase of the campaign with continued
momentum and clear support from those who know the district best.
