Woodland Hills, CA – Today, local small business owner Tim Gaspar’s campaign for Los Angeles City Council District 3 announced he raised an impressive $100,000 in just under three weeks ahead of the
December 31st, 2024 fundraising deadline. Gaspar’s strong financial start marks the first major fundraising report of the cycle.
Gaspar’s fundraising success is powered by a diverse base of more than 270 donors, including neighborhood leaders, small business owners, and longtime residents who are eager for new leadership at City Hall. His ability to rally such a broad coalition of supporters in such a short period underscores the growing demand for accountable leadership, fiscal responsibility, and real solutions to local challenges.
A lifelong resident of the West Valley, Gaspar grew up in Canoga Park and attended local public schools before graduating from El Camino Real High School, Pierce College, and California State University,
Northridge. As a successful entrepreneur and community leader, he founded Gaspar Insurance in 2008, growing it into one of the largest independent insurance firms in the region. His leadership extends
beyond business—Gaspar has served on the boards of multiple nonprofits, including the Discovery Cube Los Angeles, the YMCA, and the CSUN Nazarian School of Business, where he established the
Timothy Gaspar Entrepreneurship Scholarship to support aspiring young business leaders.
“I am incredibly energized by the overwhelming support our campaign has received in just a few short weeks,” said Gaspar. “People across the West Valley are eager for leadership that prioritizes protecting
tax dollars, getting things done, and ensuring safe, thriving neighborhoods. The enthusiasm from our supporters makes it clear—our community is ready for change, and I’m excited to lead that effort.”
With a strong financial foundation and growing grassroots momentum, Gaspar enters the race as a formidable contender, ready to bring fresh ideas, fiscal responsibility, and results-driven leadership to Los Angeles City Hall.
