Tim Gaspar is a proud Democrat, a small business owner, long-time civic leader, and a son of the West Valley whose life has been shaped by the very community he now works tirelessly to support. Born and raised in Canoga Park, Tim is a product of local public schools and a proud graduate of El Camino Real High School, Pierce College, and California State University, Northridge. His deep local roots have instilled in him a profound sense of duty to give back and hold this city accountable to the people who call it home.

In 2008, Tim founded Gaspar Insurance and grew it into one of the largest independent insurance firms in Los Angeles
and the San Fernando Valley, serving thousands and employing hundreds with integrity and heart.
Tim built that business from the ground up, and he knows firsthand what it takes to meet a payroll, solve a problem,
and be accountable for the results. That's the standard he's bringing to City Hall: results first, no nonsense,
and a Councilmember who answers to the neighborhoods and residents, not politics.

A lifelong Valley community leader, Tim has devoted himself to causes that strengthen the fabric of the community. He has held leadership roles with numerous nonprofit and civic organizations, including Discovery Cube Los Angeles, the Metropolitan YMCA of Los Angeles, the Viewpoint School Board, the Woodland Hills/Warner Center Chamber of Commerce, and the CSUN Nazarian School of Business. In every role, he brings the same energy and purpose to make a lasting difference.
Tim draws daily inspiration from his wife, Christina, a former attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, and their two children, JJ and Ry, whom they are proudly raising in Woodland Hills. For Tim, family is both his greatest joy and his guiding light, the reason he strives every day to build a stronger, safer, more compassionate community for everyone.
